How does one add or remove software packages in XFCE? I do not recall seeing that option on the Live DVD? If I have to download a package manager using a terminal please let me know the commands I need to type in. I would like to install it? THANK YOU for your time and consideration.
During installation, you can not add or remove software, but you can change the composition of programs on the ISO image.
There are several graphic add-ons to emerge. For example app-portage/porthole. You can install it from the console by running “emerge porthole”.
