I installed Calculate 20 as a guest system in VB_6.1.2.
After installing the virtualbox guest addition, the sound no longer works.
Is this a bug or how do I get the problem solved?
I don’t have the problem with Gentoo!
Hello! I’ve freshly installed Caclulate Linux Desktop XFCE 20 on a real machine, Installed VirtualBox 6.1.2 (via emerge app-emulation/virtualbox) inside it, and installed Calculate Linux Desktop XFCE 20 inside this virtual box and I do have a sound inside last LXDE.
Even after install app-emulation/virtualbox-guest-additions and reboot I still could head sound of emptying trashbin.
I used ALSA sound system, mpv player and default sound in /usr/share/sounds/freedesktop/stereo/trash-empty.oga
Only problem I have - low volume level. Can you explain your case? what is your sound system? what is your host system?

As guest system Calculate 20_KDE.
My sound system is ALSA.
Before the installation of the virtualbox guest addition, the sound (system sounds) goes.
After installing the virtualbox guest addition, the sound (system sounds) no longer works. The level in the sound mixer is also set to 100%.
