i updated the CLD 10.2 by following commands.
_eix-sync
cl-unmask world
emerge -uD system
emerge -uD world_
everything was done nice, but after rebooting i got a black screen and a blinking point on top left corner!!! by pressing Alt+F1 i get a terminal login (with calculate sign at the bottom and blue margin) but i can’t start X.
would you please let me know how i can bring X back?

the problem was because of installing the new kernel.
in console mode i used these commands:
_module-rebuild populate
module-rebuild rebuild
modprobe nvidia_
after a reboot, CLD is working fine!
the above steps took a long time. i do not know if there is a faster method…
