scratch 11.2 на очень старый ноут.

День добрый товарищи.
Очень рассчитываю на вашу помощь.

Итак есть старенький ноут Toshiba 1800-100 проц 800 мозгов 250, для кого-то может и очень старенький а для меня так и совсем ничего)) крепенький не покоцаный короче такой себе стойкий оловянный солдатик))

Решил поставить scretch нарезал болванку запустил… с иксами зависло…
запустил без иксов, нормально подумал и запустился))

но иксы нужны априори поэтому (это для матери читалка будет)) ) пишу startx, и опять грустный немигающий курсор и тишина…

посоветуйте пожалуйста в чем может быть проблема я думаю либо драйвера на старенькое видео trident c 8,0 Мб SGRAM но ливсиди вполне так оптимистично нарыл дрова даже на вставной вайфай, да и остальное вроде в норме,
вторая идея это иксы … может откатить на более старую версию.

Для начала, попробуйте в меню загрузки выбрать VESA драйвер. Можно также попробовать и CLDX запустить.

Загружается запускаю Xorg -configure генерится конфиг xorg
запускаю иксы командой X -config /root/xorg.conf.new

и опять полная завись компа , перезагрузка питанием

а ноут держит разрешение 1024х768? может 800х600? или 640х480? Судя о железу нормальный бук. у меня асус еще древнее работает под xfce

пробовал(

640x480 и 800x600 тоже виснут при запуске иксов

единственное, при предупредительном вводе настроек загрузки liveCD по F5
на слабых разрешениях размер видимой части экрана меньше размера монитора ноутбука
поэтому ввожу 1024x768. С этим разрешением консоль работает нормально и базовая картинка калкулейта тоже нормально отображается.

Возвращаюсь к мысли попробовать какой то боле старый вариант xorg или scratch, хотя понимаю что вряд ли.
Загвоздка в чем то другом.

Я про такой вариант не слышал к сожалению.
