Hi I tried to install calculate linux by using balena etcher I have another linux distro but after the pengiun comes up on the pc screen nothing else happens the whole screen remains black and nothing happens, I used balena etcher where is the problem ?

you use Balena, but you need Linux - calculate linux
From your working Linux distribution do run the following command to create bootable USB,
sudo dd if=/path/to/ISO/file of=/dev/sdX bs=2M status=progress
Of course, you’ll need to change /path/to/ISO/file and /dev/sdX in the above command appropriately. You can found the label (sdX) of your USB device by running,
lsblk -f

Check your installation. Boot with live dvd or usb made by dd according previous advise. If KDE came open filenanager as root and check /boot/grub/grub.cfg file If you kept you old linux you have to see both in grub.cfg
