Nvidia drivers problem

hi

today i installed fresh new calculate kde v18.12. as always i choose nvidia and not nouveau driver. installed ok, reboot ok, new kde ok…until i did calculate upgrade. latest 430.xx driver won’t work. i end up in command line. tried to reinstall same version. older versions of driver. every time i end up in command line. tried everal times cl-setup-video, cl-setup-system, cl-update, … same result. nouveau was blacklisted. than i setup nouveau video driver and this one works ok. what is the problem with that nvidia driver and how to fix it?

Also, you can try to change the USE flags, but I don’t know which ones. :face_with_monocle:

tried on new fresh install but again i get cl only. than i install nvidia again with cl-setup-video --video nvidia --usenew-conf, reboot and now nvidia driver works ok.
