module-rebuild: command not found.

For a long time now I have found after doing a kernel upgrade that I cannot use “module-rebuild -X rebuild” but have to use use emerge @module-rebuild instead.
# module-rebuild -X rebuild
bash: module-rebuild: command not found.
AnyOne know why.
Thanks

Hi,

This command is deprecated, you must use :

cl-setup-system
cl-setup-boot

Thanks

Thanks Julien, I had same problem Yesterday.

To rebuild NVidia modules, juste exec :

cl-setup-system

?

<> apply templates, <> configures grub. This commands don’t doing module-rebuild.

You must use <<emerge @module-rebuild>> after kernel update.

Thanks Iurii Blokhin.

I will edit my notes.
