after today system upgrade i cant open mate -termanl and other terminals exepct XTERM

after the last upgrade MATE - TERMINAL, and some aplication like Geany Claws-Mail dont not run…
also mate extensions does not start when i boot system
Nobody uses mate version? Nobody has such problem after yesterday upgrade system???
Check the messages logs. Perhaps, as in my case, you need to mask the nettle, for which run as root:
echo '>=dev-libs/nettle-3.8' >> /etc/portage/package.mask/nettle_bug
then upgrade the system or just reinstall nettle.
