Hi,

After reading DistroWatch’s recent review, I should be very interested in using Calculate Linux 11.3 to replace my current distro. However, I’ve also noticed that Gentoo has yet to provide an ebuild for get_iplayer (http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=296040) and that Calculate does not provide one as part of its custom overlay.

Given that get_iplayer is such a valuable and popular utility for downloading content from the BBC, I was wondering if Calculate might consider adding it to 11.3’s overlay.

I found the ebuild in the overlay “ikelos” (link) and transferred it to overlay “calculate”. The package is now available. Update the overlay (<<layman-S; eix-update>>) or overlay with portage (<>).
