Hi everyone,
I’m using Calculate Linux Desktop (CLD) and trying to emerge a package (kdenlive, in this case), but the process fails due to a masked dependency. Here’s the error I’m getting:
!!! The following installed packages are masked:
- media-libs/mlt-7.18.0::gentoo (masked by: package.mask)
I also check this : https://forum.calculate-linux.org/t/mise-a-jour-de-calculate-linux-mate-impossible-emerge-a- Python course in mumbai I tried unmasking it manually, but then I ran into other conflicts. I haven’t changed anything in my make.conf or overlays recently, so I’m not sure what triggered this. Is there a preferred way to safely resolve masked dependencies in Calculate Linux without breaking the system?
Would love any advice or steps to get around this properly. Thanks in advance!
