compiling a kernel step by step.

I can’t seem to compile a kernel for the latest calculate, using cl-kernel.

Can someone please help me with a step-by-step instruction guide? the instructions here are entirely wrong, and should be corrected. What’s going on?

Before asking me to send you a log of the errors, can I just get the step by step instructions? Thank you.

I’m looking for help with cl-kernel, not genkernel.

If you know how to do this, I’d appreciate your help with cl-kernel.

You didn’t mention if you found & read the instructions here at Calculate
Look here http://www.calculate-linux.org/main/en/cl-kernel
Seems to me that there are sufficient instructions, no ?

Are you referring to the link that I posted.
If so then I am also at a loss…

Absolutely! based on the instructions, it immediately gives errors. That means the instructions are invalid

Here’s the output.
l-kernel: error: in default directory of kernel source not enough needed files
Probably calculate-sources was compiled with USE ‘minimal’
Try `cl-kernel --help’ for more information
