cl-builder documentation for reassembling css iso from running cldx

Want to make a new css iso, add some packages an a
different kernel. I uses http://www.calculate-linux.org/main/en/interactive_system_build,
but there is no cl-builder executable on my current running cldx box.
I found http://www.calculate-linux.org/main/ru/calculate-builder, but can’t
understand it. Could someone please translate it to english?

From what I can tell, none of the old documentation seems to apply to the current releases. I see scripts which seem related:
cl-builder-break
cl-builder-image
cl-builder-prepare
cl-builder-profile
cl-builder-restore
cl-builder-update
and look like they must somehow work together to provide this capability, but I can find no documentation that tells how to use them.

In addition, access to them is provided in cl-console-gui, but I can’t get any of them to do anything.
I tried cl-builder-prepare via the gui and it asks for a Source image for which I supplied the path to a CLS ISO, but it gives the error “Wrong source distributive for layered build”. I tried looking at the Python code, but I can’t make out what it is looking for.
