We are proud to announce a new release of Calculate Linux Scratch 15 featuring KDE 5, alias CLSK.
CLSK provides a basic set of KDE 5 packages that were fully ported to Qt5, including the standard window manager. It can be used for building a system based on the new Plasma along with both KDE software and
third-party, namely CLDX applications. With the Breeze-like theme we specially designed for use with the Gtk framework, Gtk2 / 3 and KDE4 applications almost look as if they were native Qt5 features.
Calculate Linux uses the OpenRC init system. The Calculate binary repository includes over 2600 applications and is entirely compatible with Gentoo Portage.
Open as well as proprietary video drivers are available out of box. Calculate Utils help you modify the system image should you wish to do so. Multiboot is supported.
For handling your domain, try Calculate Directory Server. It features centralized user authentication through LDAP and on-server storage of user profiles.
CLSK is now available for download for both x86_64 and i686 architectures.
