Calculate Linux doesn't recognize my internal mic nor camera

Good day, Calculate community.

I’ve been a Gentoo user for quite some years now, and I wanted to try out a more friendly distribution with all the Gentoo perks for another PC I got my hands on. I found out about this distribution at the start of the month, and I’ve been using it throughout and I’m really happy with how it’s working out in my machine.

So far all of the applications and other stuff I had in my main Gentoo PC, I was able to bring over to the Calculate build.

However, the only two things I cannot seem to get working are the laptop’s internal microphone, and the built-in camera that the laptop has.
Knowing Gentoo-based systems, I tried going into the kernel to fiddle with the drivers and modules, but I found that Calculate handles the kernel a bit differently, and I cannot seem to make menuconfig on the main kernel’s source folder.
