Calculate Linux 20.6 released

Released on June 21, 2020.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Calculate Ltd, we are pleased to unveil the new 20.6 CL release.

This new version provides numerous optimizations, namely shorter boot-up time, reduced memory requirements, and added pre-configured Web browser extensions for Nextcloud support.

All Calculate flavors are available for download: Calculate Linux Desktop featuring several desktop environments, to choose between KDE (CLD), Cinnamon (CLDC), LXQt (CLDL), Mate (CLDM) and Xfce (CLDX or CLDXS); Calculate Directory Server (CDS), Calculate Linux Scratch (CLS) and Calculate Scratch Server (CSS).

thanks for update , since im newbie i will wait for update to drop on console

It would be interesting for you to do a GUI and a cli of the emerge to make things easier
But I don’t know if that would be against your purpose.

It’s planned, but later. Now the task is to rewrite the utilities to Python 3.

Would it also be possible to add hybrid graphics support in the system installation?
I don’t know how to get Nvidia’s hybrid drivers into the gentoo base

We don’t have laptops with hybrid graphics. It’s gonna be hard to test.

Even so I can test it
Just add that I test
