Calculate 15 - How do you know when the Installation is finished?

Hi Calculaters,

How do you know when the Installation is finished?

The following image is the last Screenshot I was able to take and that was over 90 minutes ago. :frowning: !!

I saw it reach over 40% and then the System Install window was closed. I’ve just opened the Task Manager and I see that cl-update-checker is active but I have no idea if that is responsible for the delay in finalisation of the installation.

Thanks, Michael.

I can see that /boot/grub/grub.cfg has been created on the partition I chose for installation.

How can I check if GRUB on the /dev/sda2 (/boot/efi) partition has been correctly edited?

You can run cl-console-gui and click on toolbar button “Processes”.

See the images below.

Mikhail, you need to be more detailed with your responses.

I am NOT impressed with the lack of documentation!

Can I click on the No button and shutdown the computer, now, so that I can remove the USB Drive and restart (hopefully) the computer with Calculate?

Or, does the Yes button need to be used to correctly complete the installation?

Thank you, Michael.

System should be correctly installed, no matter what you choose, if the installer did not display the error messages. You can remove the USB Drive after reboot.
