проблема с eix-sync

Здравствуйте. Установил CLDX. пытаюсь сделать первое обновление системы, и получаю вот что.

переменные прокси прописаны. подскажите куда копать?

попробовал также выпонить emerge-webrsync, но там вывод вообще странный

Способов обновить портежи несколько.
Самый простой - выполнить:

emerge --sync

eix-sync выполняет уже три действия, обновляет calculate overlay, затем портежи, и в конце свою базу (eix).
Возможно по какой-то причине не обновляется calculate overlay и на этом работа eix-sync прекращается. Попробуйте выполнить `layman -S`.

`emerge-webrsync` другой вид обновления, через ежедневные архивы изменений в портежах. Очевидно эту команду следует выполнять с определенной регулярностью.

Возможно кто-то предложит другие, более удобные варианты обновлений.

частично проблему решил. прописал прокси в файл wgetrc. обновил портежи через emerge-delta-webrsync.
но команда layman -S все равно не отробатывает выдает следующее:

layman -S
* Running command "/usr/bin/svn up "/usr/local/portage/layman/calculate""...

это кретично? или можно жить без обновления calculate overlay?

Мы еще учимся правильно поддерживать оверлей. Безобидный откат в SVN например в оверлее просто недопустим.
Решить проблему можно так:

rm -rf /usr/local/portage/layman/calculate /usr/local/portage/layman/overlays.xml
layman -a calculate

до svn сервера всетаки достучался, прописал в файле ~/subversion/servers следующее:

[global]
http-proxy-host = myproxy
http-proxy-port = myport

теперь делаю как Вы посоветовали

rm -rf /usr/local/portage/layman/calculate /usr/local/portage/layman/overlays.xml

он естественно все удаляет. далее делаю layman -a calculate, и получаю вот что:

 Running command "/usr/bin/svn co "http://svn.calculate.ru/overlay/" "/usr/local/portage/layman/calculate""...
svn: Server sent unexpected return value (400 Bad Request) in response to REPORT request for '/!svn/vcc/default'
* Failed to add overlay "calculate".
* Error was: Adding the overlay failed! Possible remains of the opration have NOT been removed and may be left at /usr/local/portage/layman/calculate. Please remove them manually if required.

хвостов в/usr/local/portage/layman/calculate не осталось точно я проверял. сильно смущает вторая строка.
что вашему серверу не понравилось? или грабли у меня?

Я так понимаю просит удалить `/usr/local/portage/layman/calculate`, чтобы выполнить команду.

удалил. результат тотже.
меня смущует вот эта строка

данное решение я видел. и собственно по нему и прописал прокси в svn. об этом написано двумя постами выше.
до сервера то я теперь достукиваюсь, но он возвращает интересный ответ ( смотри пост выше), вопрос почему?

Это значит что, что-то некорректно с прокси.

Можно попробовать сделать временный каталог.
Например:
mkdir /tmp/test

Зайти в него:
cd /tmp/test

И выполнить:
/usr/bin/svn co “http://svn.calculate.ru/overlay”

Последняя команда создаст оверлей в тестовой директории.
